How It Works
Therapist-Led, Unstructured, and Participant-Driven
Group members bring forward whatever is most relevant to them, exploring emotions and life experiences as they naturally arise.Focus on the Therapeutic Process
The group emphasizes how members interact with one another—examining emotional responses, defenses, and interpersonal patterns as the foundation of therapeutic growth.Key Goals
Increase Self-Awareness: Develop insight into personal emotions, behaviors, and relational patterns.
Improve Interpersonal Skills: Practice vulnerability, empathy, and effective communication.
Gain New Perspectives: Receive supportive feedback from peers and the therapist, reducing feelings of isolation.
Foster Healing and Growth: Build healthier coping strategies and relational skills.
What to Expect
Emotional Expression: Open sharing of struggles, successes, and feelings.
Mutual Support: Connection with others experiencing similar challenges.
Real-Time Feedback: Insight and reflections from group members.
Practical Application: Skills that translate into healthier relationships outside the group, particularly beneficial in addiction recovery and mental health treatment.
Women’s Grief Group
What Happens in a Grief Therapy Group?
Shared Experience: Members discuss their loved ones, emotions such as sadness, anger, and guilt, and the impact of loss on daily life.
Professional Guidance: A therapist facilitates discussions, provides validation, teaches healthy coping strategies, and helps manage intense emotions.
Mutual Support: A safe, compassionate environment where participants feel understood and less alone.
Learning and Growth: Education on the grief process, tools for managing symptoms, and support in integrating loss into one’s life.
Who Benefits?
